Matthew Bowlin (tenor)

Matthew is a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Martin with a Bachelors degree in Music Education, Matthew is certified to teach vocal music in grades K-12, and has been teaching in the Memphis schools for four years. He is currently the Director of Choirs at Craigmont High School. Matthew is also active at Calvary Episcopal, where he and his two sons, Seth and Aaron, attend church. Matthew is the tenor section leader for the parish and the choir mentor for the K-4 boys. He has been the tenor soloist for Calvary’s annual presentation of Handel’s Messiah for the past two years and is slated to take on this role again in this winter’s presentation. Matthew has been a member of the Memphis Vocal Arts Ensemble since 2000.
