Robert Brown (tenor)

Robert Brown is a graduate of David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, Robert pursued a minor in music. Robert sang the leading roles in two operettas, supporting roles in three others and also sang first tenor in the College Quartette and three other music groups. Robert has led singing in his church since he was a junior in high school, has taught singing and has written words and music for a dozen hymns. Robert has been married to his wife, Peggy Jean Ellis, for 49 years. They have five children and seven grandchildren. Robert is also very happy that his daughter, Stephony Gatlin, now sings alto with the Memphis Vocal Arts Ensemble.
