Barbara Simmons (alto) Barbara Simmons has been singing and acting on the stage for over 35 years. Working with the MVAE over the years has provided her with numerous solo singing opportunities. She was able, through MVAE, to work with the late Alan Balter and the Memphis Symphony as the alto soloist for the Pergolesi Stabat Mater and the Vivaldi Gloria. She has also been a featured soloist with the Memphis Chamber Music Society and The Beethoven Club. |
