Emily Taylor (soprano)

Emily Taylor, a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, received her Bachelor of Music degree from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. In addition to teaching private voice and piano to youth and adults, Emily has served as Associate Director of Music at the College Hill Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, and has performed extensively as a soloist throughout the southeast U.S. Her vibrant but lyric voice has enabled her to perform a wide spectrum of repertoire from the classics to the contemporary. Emily has been a member of MVAE since 1998. She is currently the Director of Choral Music at Collierville High School with four auditioned choral ensembles under her direction. Since the year 2000 when Emily began teaching at CHS, each of these choral ensembles have received superior ratings yearly in regional and national competitions.
